JOB SUMMARY
The BRC Storage Administrative Agent will support the BRC Storage Manager, Assistant Manager, and Crew in all administrative functions. They will assist with and coordinate the container location flagging activities with the Placement Flagging team. Additionally, they will support the BRC Storage Program management team with all planning and logistics for playa operations. This role will be pivotal in coordinating the creation of our maps and binders to prepare our team for operations. Finally, they will track all tickets in SalesForce and ensure that proper customer service is delivered to all program participants.
This is a temporary, full-time, non-exempt role, based in Black Rock City, Nevada running from July to September, 2025.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Administration (60%)
- Collection and organization of container camp maps.
- Communicate with camp contacts directly when additional information for container placement is necessary.
- Customer support to container owners and other storage customers, assist with troubleshooting.
- Work closely with the BRC Storage Manager to confirm which containers will move or remain onsite.
- Record and document the placement of security banding on each container and the tracking of the band numbers.
- Document any issues or concerns with every container, including maintenance, paint, or labeling.
- Prepare written feedback to the BRC Storage Manager describing the successes and failures of the season with the purpose of improved overall efficiency and suggestions.
- Own the invoicing problem resolution process.
Team Support (30%)
- Support the BRC Storage Manager with volunteer recruitment as needed.
- Flag containers and theme camps and assist the team with problem solving.
- Support the BRC Storage Manager with data tracking and management.
- Manage the SalesForce process.
Other Functions and Responsibilities (10%)
- Attend daily Team Meetings and DPW Morning Meetings.
- Be familiar with and act according to Burning Man’s staff policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Documentation – Drives the creation, publishing, and maintenance of process documentation related to assigned duties.
- Learning – Pursues ongoing learning in their area of expertise, working to stay current on emergent knowledge, skills, and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- 2+ years of administrative support experience.
- 2+ years of customer service experience.
- 1+ year working for an on-playa BRC Ops team.
- Knowledge of BRC, its departments, and operations.
- Strong typing and computer skills. Proficiency in Gmail, Google Drive, Excel, and Word.
- A professional demeanor in verbal and written communications.
- Experienced and comfortable with using remote forms of communication (i.e., two way radios).
- Organized, detail oriented, and motivated.
- Sensitive to and able to practice discretion regarding confidential information.
- Experience working on projects in remote wilderness and/or desert environments.
- Ability to adjust schedule seasonally to work at the Burning Man event held in Nevada.
- Abide by the rules and codes of conduct described in the NVO Handbook, Ranch Protocols, and the 360 S.O.P.
PREFERRED
- Knowledge of SalesForce.
- Has been to Burning Man and/or is familiar with its culture and has knowledge of BRC, its departments, and operations.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
COMPENSATION:
Individual compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors, including prior experience and geographical location. The anticipated pay rate for this position is $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Off-playa: Work is primarily sedentary but will also include the need to find and meet with department representatives who may not be in the vicinity therefore this could include walking or using some form of transportation. Some of the work will be in outside weather conditions and will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles as well as possible extremes in temperature.
- On-playa: This position requires periods of light lifting, bending, kneeling and squatting. This position will be physically demanding, and requires individuals with good physical health, and endurance. Work will include the need to find and meet with department representatives who may not be in the vicinity therefore this could include walking or using some form of transportation. Most of the work will be in outside weather conditions and will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles as well as possible extremes in temperature.
